Ever wondered why you keep getting calls claiming you were in a car accident you never had? These persistent contacts are classic motor‑accident scams that rely on pressure tactics and false claims. The safest approach is to never share personal or financial details and to end the conversation firmly. Use your phone’s block feature, add the number to the national Do Not Call register, and report the incident to Action Fraud. Keep a log of call times and any recorded messages – this helps authorities spot patterns. If the calls continue, consider a call‑filtering app or contacting your service provider for a permanent block.
