This number is purportedly from the UK Benefits Department, but the caller's behaviour, including talking to himself before hanging up, suggests a scam, particularly given that this is the second call I have received from this spoofed number.

The call was allegedly from the 'UK Benefits Office', but the caller's claim seemed dubious, and the call appeared to originate from an Indian call centre outside the UK.
Regarding the UK Benefits, a life insurance discussion ensued, however, the caller abruptly ended the conversation after merely 1 minute 13 seconds, apparantly talking to himself. This was the first occassion I recieved a call from this particually spoofed number, having been targeted with other spoofed numbers previosly. Clearly a scam.

The caller didn’t mention the company name, just said it was about my life insurance. Since my provider usually sends a letter, I suspect this was a scam.

I was told I had been awarded a £1500 ppi payment, which was a compleat shock, since I never made any claim, so I just hung up, it was a total scam, what a joke

Man with a foriegn accent came across extremly aggresive, shouting down the line somthing about compensation of £2k, absolutly rediculous
The caller attempted to scam me by claiming I was due a PPI refund, asking for my name and address, and proceeding to request bank details without hesitation, even when I provided an incorrect address
