Avis d’expert
Beware of unsolicited calls from this number, as multiple reports highlight persistent attempts to impersonate trusted insurers. Scammers often pose as representatives from Direct Line, probing for personal details like your age, income, or surname under the guise of life insurance offers or follow-up on letters. Overhearing call centre chatter or sudden hang-ups when challenged are common red flags. Never share sensitive information over the phone with unknown callers. Instead, hang up immediately and contact the company directly using verified details from their official website. If harassed, report to Action Fraud or your network provider to block such nuisances. Staying vigilant helps protect against identity theft.

I received a missed call, rang back, and they asked to speak to me by name, claiming to be from Direct Line and probing my age and income.
It’s obvious it’s a scam from the moment they claim to be Direct Line selling life insurance – disgusting scammers. I still can’t understand how they always get my number.

I got a missed call from this number, yet no message followed.
They were promoting life insurance.
