Over recent weeks, this number has been calling me, usually on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I answer, hear an office background, and then it disconnects. Today, I answered and had one of the most absurd calls ever. The caller claimed I rented a Maserati and was due a refund. After laughing and explaining I don’t own a car or have a full licence, the man replied, ‘I was just messing with you, mate.’ He then asked if I wanted to reclaim PPI. I ended the call and blocked the number. The company, known as Redstar Financial Management, is based in Leicester and is known for cold calling and scamming. I’ve flagged this number as dangerous and harassing. It’s best to block it; it’s dodgy business.
