UCD makes unsolicited calls to alumni, bothering them for donations.

I consider this a nuisance call, and I'm not sure if it's compliant with GDPR, since I didn't give permission to be contacted

Under the guise of a survey, the University of California, Dublin alumni association made a pushy request for donations, which was unacceptable

They keep calling to ask for donations; I’ve blocked the number after multiple requests.

The caller was reaching out to alumni to request donations for underprivileged students, and I've been receiving annual calls since making a donation

The caller poses questions and subsequently requests financial information, which is completely unexpected and suspicious

This number is affiliated with the UCD Foundation

Unfortunatly, this isnt the first time Ive experienced issues with this number, its happend befor with similair situatins

Despite modifying my preferences on the UCD alumni online platform, they persist in calling me, with atleast three calls in as many weeks, which is quite frustrting.

They were asking for donations, but I'm not sure if it's legit

Despite not recalling giving permission for my personal mobile number to be used, I received calls at unreasonable hours, which has led me to block the number.

They was looking for funding for disadvantaged students, but seem very pushy and ask for card details on the phone, which sound sketchy to me when i say not now

The conversation began with a request for feedback, but quickly took a turn when they asked for financial sponsorship for students, despite my initial reluctance to commit to a monthly payment, and it's worth noting that their existing resources in Belfield should be sufficient to support a few students.

They were asking for donations to the UCD, which seemed suspicious

I recieved a call about supporting current students in need of financial aid, and I have signed up for it
