This appears to be a scam; they ask about payment methods using a credit card without clarifying the purpose.

The call, logged on 11.13 – 11 Jun 2025, shows a Dublin number. A male voice in his 30s with an E/S London accent introduced himself as "Ryan" and mentioned our business by name. He first claimed to follow up on a call we never had, saying a family member asked if we could receive credit‑card payments, later switching to "my uncle". When pressed for details, he said he would call back in 15 minutes after checking with his uncle because he wasn’t sure what was being purchased. We do not expect a return call.

The phone keeps ringing without leaving a voicemail; when I return the call it just rings out—definitely a scam.

They asked whether we accept American Express cards, calling twice in two days with different accents (American and British). Both said their dad needed to purchase something and wanted info; I directed them where to go. Total scam—don’t share anything unless they’re a known client!
