This call was about a complaint I had made to Sky. The representative seemed friendly. I suspect it was an outsourced Sky call center (previously Abtran), which might explain the 6 pm calls. Since the inbound calls end, that's when outbound calls are made. Additionally, Sky may not have a record of the call due to a different CRM system. These centers are also involved in customer retention and may contact former customers.
The initial unsolicited call was an attempt to set up a payment plan for Sky Glass, during which the caller asked for my name and then pressured me to commit to a payment plan, raising suspicions when they requested credit card information
