Claiming to be from ATT, this scammer attempted to access my computer and charge me for a program, which is a clear indication of a scam, as ATT does not initiate calls to customers.

I experienced a similar scam call where the perpetrator attempted to deceive me into believing my computer was compromised and tried to persuade me to download software that would grant them control over my device, which I refused to do.

A caller claiming to be from AT&T contacted me, stating my computer had issues, and attempted to direct me to a website; the conversation seemed scripted and suspicious

I concur that these individuals are scammers, typically posing as representatives from companies like AT&T or Microsoft, and I advise reporting them to the relevant authorities.

Apparently, the individual on the other end had a thick Indian accent, claiming to be from AOL, and asserted that my computer was sending SPAM emails, which was clearly a scam. I decided to toy with him for about 15 minutes before making some disparaging remarks about his mother, at which point he ended the call.

These people are scammers, they claim to be from ATT Connect-tech but the company say's they dont make call's, they try to steal your personal info by tellin you there's somethin wrong with your computer.

It's a scam, att connect tech would have an att number, not us cellular, thats just commen sence.
