Thanks to the warnings posted here, I avoided answering the call altogether.

It's amusing to me when these scammers call, as they are so focused on gaining access to my computer that they fail to realize I am intentionally wasting their time, such as in our last call, which lasted six minutes and ended with us exchanging insults

This appears to be a scam related to computer security

My experience mirrors what others have reported, with a call received on February 1, 2019, at 12:40 PM.

Be aware, this number is a phony Microsoft call, dont give them any informations!

A man called, aparently yawning, and stated he was calling about my computer, he sounded like he was from India

An Indian male, claiming to be from Microsoft, called stating that my computer was infected with viruses. After engaging with him for a while, I questioned his location, and he claimed to be calling from Clinton, South Carolina, which contradicted the caller ID indicating North Carolina. I confronted him about the scam, and he became agitated, yelled, and eventually hung up after using derogatory language. The experience was almost amusing, and I hope that by interacting with these scammers, they will remove my number from their list, potentially stopping the calls.

Some guy called me, saying my pc had virus and error, and he was from microsoft, but when i put him on hold and called Geeksquad, they said it was a scam, so i hang up on him, but he keep calling back

I recently spent 20 minutes engaging with a scammer, who claimed to be from Microsoft and had a foreign accent, likely from India or Arabic-speaking country. The call ended with the scammer cursing me out in multiple languages and threatening me, leaving my office in stitches. It's clear that the only way to combat such scammers is to waste their time, as they won't remove you from their list voluntarily

They claimed my computer was gonna crash if i didnt gave them full access, thats ridiculous

I answered, and some indian guy started talkin about my computer, i told him to remove my number, and,get lost.

U.S. Cellular was also displayed, same as other similair calls, the person claimed to have a computer problem, but i told him nothing was wrong so he just hang up and went back to his scam

The constant barrage of calls from various numbers is exhausting, as blocking one number only leads to another being used, creating a cycle of frustration.

The caller ID showed "US Cellular", and the caller asked for me by name, attempting to execute a scam involving remote computer access.

This is a windows computer scam
