These calls are a classic scam tactic, where the caller pretends to be a process server or a lawyer, claiming there’s a sealed legal matter or a pending lawsuit against you. They create urgency by threatening to serve you at home or work, often mentioning the need for two forms of ID. The goal is to get you to call another number, where they’ll try to extort money to “make it go away.” The key is to not engage. Process servers don’t call ahead, and legal matters don’t work this way. If you receive such a call, hang up and block the number. Report it to your local authorities or the FTC to help shut it down.
As previously mentioned, text messages should be forwarded to 7726 to facilitate blocking by carriers.
I recieved the same message as everyone else, but I never got any mail from them, and all my bills are paid on time, and my credit report is clean, so I dont know why they're harrassing me multiple times a day, I've blocked all their numbers, and now I'm getting text messages too, saying my bank accounts are frozen, and I should click the link, it's all scams.

I got a call from a Texas area code, and I live in Minnesota, the automated message was pretty threatening, saying my wages would be garnished if I don't resolve the matter, but the woman refuse to tell me what company it was.
