I received an email regarding changes to my account pin, instructing me to call 888-228-7783 if I had questions, which appears to be a phishing scam, as evidenced by similar reports from 2018.

An email notification was received, purportedly regarding a PIN change initiated by the recipient.

This call is clearly a scam, and I find it amusing.

The email address and subject line used appear to be a phishing attempt, claiming to be from Equifax but seeming highly suspicious.

Following my completion of I9 information through Equifax for a job, I received a spam email from this sender, which seemed unusual.

If you're concerned about your account just log in and check, otherwise just delete the email and forget about it
