The voice messsage clamed to be from a lawyers office, and requested that I return the call to a different number, despite the fact that I have no outstanding debts.

Fortunately, I investigated this number before answering, as it appears to be a debt collection scam, and I do not owe any debt to the companies mentioned, many of which I have never heard of.

Despite my double payment being mailed two weeks ago, they continue to call at all hours, and their billing department is slow to credit payments, leading me to vow never to order from them again

Over the course of 5 days, I recieved 3 calls from this number regarding a Tashia Hodgins; when I called back, the person who answered claimed to be from "7th Avenue" and proceded to get nasty with me.

I have a account with them, but i been recieving calls from foreigners, for 2 week, i also recieved a mail from seventh avenue, saying i owe them more than i actually do, i called them, and they said i didnt owe that much, i been throwing away the higher bill, but when i contacted them today, i told them i would send them an other copy, if i recieved an other one

In California, using robo-dialers without a live person's introduction is illegal, carrying a $500 fine, which might discourage such practices if enough complaints are filed with the CPUC, considering exceptions to this rule do not apply to third-party debt collectors like this company.

After recieving a new phone number, I got 17 calls from 877-998-4494 in the first month, it was very anoying.

These peoples call me every day, even at 9pm, they wont stop, i'm going to file a report against them for not following the FDCPA rules, i know i have right, i'm going to put a stop to them calling me all the time

It appears that debt collectors are increasingly using robo-calls, and in my case, they claim to be from a company on 7th Ave, asking me to call back, but I know I don't owe anyone money and pay my bills on time, so it's clear they're just trying to intimidate people into paying them.
