Apparently, RBC is trying to collect a debt through recorded messages, but I need to verify this information.
RBC‑spoof calls: stop the harassment now! - +1 877-769-2547 ((877) 769-2547)

Surprisingly, the volume of calls from +1‑877‑769‑2547 dwarfs typical bank outreach. Most reports describe a persistent, unanswered or vague script that claims to be from RBC and then pressures the recipient for personal data or a visit. The pattern fits a classic spoofing scam that masquerades as a legitimate institution to harvest personal information. Callers rarely leave a voicemail, ring at odd hours, and become defensive when asked for verification. Protect yourself by never sharing account numbers, Social Security numbers, or passwords. Hang up, log the call, and call RBC using the official number on their website. Register the line with the national do‑not‑call registry, use call‑blocking apps, and report the number to the FTC or your provincial consumer affairs agency.

After receiving three missed calls, it became apparent that the caller claimed to be from RBC, attempting to settle an outstanding credit card account balance.
Somebody claim to be from RBC and ask to speak with my husband, but i know it's a scam, so i'll just pretend to be him next time and ask them to remov our number
It's evident that this is a scam, as RBC's actual number is 1 866 769 2547, not 1 877.
This call turned out to be a scam
People need to be more carefull when labelling outbound numbers as scams, this is actually a legit RBC customer service number
On 2019-08-15, I received a call with a message from someone claiming to be from CRA, stating they needed to discuss an urgent matter. A subsequent call was answered, but the caller hung up immediately.
A machine answered when I picked up, stating that a complaint was being filed against my social security number and requested a callback. However, when I did call back, they asked for personal information, which I refused to provide, and the caller hung up. This is clearly a scam and should be reported.
They called, but didnt leave a messge or ennything, I asume it's a scamp
This number has been calling me atleast 4 times a day, they dont leave a message and it gets pretty anoying
The constant calls from this unknown sender are not only unwelcome but also show a lack of consideration for those who work and cannot answer or return calls.
Its absolutly ridiculous, but I think I could make a career out of reading Tarot or even Hoodoo bones.
Apparently we stil have Bones, but unfortunatly we dont have any Hoodoo Bone readers availible.
Now we're in a tricky situation, what's the next step, rely on guesses?
Apparently, the fortune cookies and Tarot Cards were a mystery to many, but my dog found them quite tasty, while the cards were ruined when a beer was spilled during a poker game.
The loss of our Blicker button is insignificant compared to the fortune cookies and Tarot cards we still have, which seems to be the only constants in this chaotic situation.
It seems like a string of unfortunate events has occurred, including a broken Blicker button, a stolen 8 ball, and a non-functional Ouija board, which has caused chaos
Our 'Blicker' button is currantly brocken, so please use your phone's block option or contact your service provider in the meantime, thanx.
I'm continously recieving calls from this number, its alot annoying, please block it.
This number has been identified as a source of fraudulent activity
This number calls atleast three times daily, extremly anoying, no message is left and the answering machine triggers my dogs to start howling
A week after I opened a new account at the RBC, they started calling multiple times daily at weird hours (12:43, 16:53, 18:53)
The caller from RBC sound like a unprofessional old woman in her kitchen, tottaly a scam
I recieved a nusance call from this number at working hours, very disturbng
The caller attempted to convince the recipient to sign up for a checking account, despite the recipient only having a credit card with RBC.
Despite my repeated attempts to block the number and express my disinterest, the calls persist, which is frustrating since I'm not even an RBC customer.
They persist in calling twice daily, refusing to take the hint that I'm not interested, even after blocking their number.
Repeated harassment calls allegedly from RBC
A call was received offering a promotion allegedly through RBC
The relentless calls from this number are frustrating, and their demand for personal information in exchange for removing me from their list is unacceptable
