An entity claiming to be MJR Company, a collection agency, contacted me, but with the prevalence of scams, it's uncertain who they truly are, highlighting the need for government intervention.

Opinión del experto
Like a relentless mosquito, the 877‑669‑4935 number buzzes into inboxes, claiming urgent debt that may not exist. Callers often pose as a debt collector for banks or credit cards, using vague legal threats to pressure a quick payoff. The safest move is to let the call go to voicemail, then request a written validation of the debt and proof of the agency’s licensing before sharing any personal data. Block the number on your phone, report the incident to the provincial consumer protection agency, and keep records of all communications. Staying calm and verifying legitimacy prevents unwanted harassment and potential fraud.
