Started with anonymous spam, followed by cutting off my internet and cable. Talked super quick, like they were high or something. Then my wife contacted Spectrum and suddenly the service returned. No outage was planned.
The scam attempt was sophisticated, involving a fabricated overdue bill. Having a Spectrum account made the ruse somewhat believable.
