Expert Opinion
The caller, claiming to be a personal courier service, is likely a scam artist attempting to trick people into providing sensitive information or paying a fee to avoid supposed legal action. The pre-recorded message, which includes a reference number and a threatening tone, is designed to create a sense of urgency and fear. The fact that multiple people have reported receiving the same message, with the caller claiming to be visiting their homes between 12pm and 3pm, suggests a large-scale phishing operation. It's essential to be cautious and not provide any personal information or engage with the caller.
