Like a relentless echo, the calls from 866‑416‑3859 keep bouncing back with vague urgency. Most callers claim to represent United Collection Bureau (UCB) and pressure you to pay a debt that may not exist. The safest move is to request written validation of any alleged debt and keep a record of each interaction. Send a cease‑and‑desist letter to the agency, copy your state Attorney General, and add the number to the national Do‑Not‑Call registry. Consider blocking the number on your phone and never share personal details until you verify the collector’s license. Knowing your rights under the Fair Debt Collection Act can stop the harassment fast.
