An individual attempted to contact me through my mother's cell phone number, which is unusual since we do not share the number. The message left was to contact Michael Harris, an attorney in Redding, CA, who appears to be inactive. This situation seems strange and spam-related, and I will not be returning the call.
Scam alert: bogus court papers phone trap - +1 855-470-0091 ((855) 470-0091)
Summary — +18554700091
Expert Opinion
Like a wolf in a courtroom costume, the caller pretends to be a legal process server to scare you into paying a phantom debt. The script repeats a fake attorney name, a case number, and a urgent deadline, all designed to trigger panic. Hang up immediately and never call the number back—real courts never demand payment over a cold call. Verify any alleged legal action by contacting the actual court or your attorney directly, using official contact info from a trusted website. Block the number, report it to the FTC or your phone carrier, and share the experience to warn others.
