After calling back, I confirmed that 855-306-6998 belongs to ALLY FINANCIAL's collection unit, and they were contacting me about a payment issue that had not been updated in their system
After switching to Vonage and changing our phone number, this is the first spam call we've received, and it's come in twice already this morning, at 10:35AM; it's unclear who these individuals are, but I intend to answer the next call and confront them.

I completely agree; my payment is due on the 15th, and while I appreciate the reminder calls starting on the 16th, receiving seven calls in one day seems overly excessive
I dont get why a big company like ally cant see that i have a scheduled payment in 2 days, i usualy pay on time, i wish they would check my account before calling me, so i'll just keep blocking their numbers
