Aetna home‑visit calls: How to spot the scam! - +1 855-215-1831 ((855) 215-1831)

Avis d’expert
Calls claiming to be from Aetna often promise a free home health visit or extra Medicare benefits, but the pattern points to a scam. Victims report repeated early‑morning calls, callers using familiar names like Susan or Rick, and requests for personal details such as DOB or email. The safest move is to hang up, avoid sharing any personal info, and verify any offer directly with Aetna’s official customer service line. Use your phone’s block feature, report the number to your carrier, and consider registering with the national Do‑Not‑Call registry. Staying skeptical and confirming through official channels can stop these nuisance calls from escalating.

Signify Health, calling on behalf of several insurance companies, can be verified by visiting signifycares.com, which provides necessary information and confirms their legitimacy.
In reality, this call is legitimate, not a scam. When you contact Aetna directly using the phone number on the back of your insurance card, they offer a free home visit, during which they take your vitals, review your medications, and discuss your health concerns. Additionally, they provide a gift card. This is a service called Signified Health, which sets up an annual appointment with a registered nurse.
The frequent calls to Medicare recipients from Signify are a scam, as they aim to inflate risk scores for insurance companies to gain more money from CMS.
