Netflix scam call alert: why 844‑505‑2993 isn’t legit!

Upon reviewing my bank account, I noticed Netflix had charged me three times in a month, with two of the charges appearing to be scams. I contacted the number listed in the bank account description and spoke with someone who asked for my card number to assist me. However, after providing the number, the call was ended abruptly. I immediately blocked my card and obtained a new one, as this transaction seemed fraudulent. It's essential for everyone to regularly check their bank account history for such discrepancies.

The scam was quite elaborate, featuring a recorded message claiming to be from Netflix.

I got this number from a Netflix email, they wanted me to insert my AMEX number, but I asked them to cancel my account
