Actions were taken as instructed, resulting in a changed password, and it is hoped that this will resolve the issue soon.
Similar to other reported incidents, this number requested a response to a pending message via SS, which I didn't comply with, instead opting to investigate the number's legitimacy, a procedure I recommend to others receiving suspicious calls or messages; a simple 'Whois' search can provide valuable information about the caller's identity and intentions.
