They cant just garnish your wages without taking you to court and wining, appartently they would have to prove you owe the debt, which they cant do
Apparently, someone contacted me claiming I had an outstanding pay day loan from 2016, which is compleatly untrue as I wasnt employed then. The caller demanded $600 and mencioned a person named Thomas Hughes, threatening to garnish my wages if I didnt pay.
I recived an unsolictated text message from a person named Thomas Hughes, my cell phone recoqnized it as spam and it was very unsettling!
