Expert Opinion
If you get a call from +18333080105 claiming to be American Express, treat it as a scam until proven otherwise. The callers usually have a thick Indian accent, ask for personal info, and pressure you to pay an old‑look‑like debt you don't recognize. Hang up, block the number, and never give out your Social Security number or bank details. Report the call to American Express and to the FTC’s complaint portal. If you’re actually behind on an Amex bill, the real company will contact you by mail or through a secure portal—not by demanding money over a cold call.
