Scam calls demanding your SSN—how to stop them! - +1 833-240-5221 ((833) 240-5221)

Since July 2023, I have been receiving calls, initially from a different number, which led me to contact Impact Solutions Group, a debt collection agency, only to discover the debt in question was not mine.

The interaction with this number was thoroughly unprofessional. After being told my number wasn't on a list and the call was an error, I inquired about the nature of their calls and the organization's purpose. The response was abrupt and ended with a hang-up.

The call appears suspicious, bearing all the hallmarks of a scam robocall.

Five months have passed and i still recieve these calls, it seems to be a scam based on the feedback from other users; somehow they obtaned my name and number, and even contacted my friends, but i regulary check my credit report

Repeated calls from this number led me to call back, and after being transferred to a paralegal, I was sent to voicemail, with a claim of litigation over a 2016 payday loan that I have no knowledge of.

Repeated calls from this number, leading to a voicemail with a request to return the call regarding a supposed business matter, also mention a specific name and social security number, indicating a potential scam.

I've been receiving the same message from this number for about a year now.

This is definately a scam, they just want to get your SS number or make you pay for something that isnt real, so be careful.

The frequency of these scam calls is excessive, with the same area code being used to make the calls appear legitimate; I've blocked them on my other phone.

These scammers are relentless, calling daily with the same tired script, claiming to have an important business matter linked to my name and social security number. Despite owing no debts, they continue to harass me, using the same voice and tactics. It's frustrating to see them attempt to trick people into providing their social security numbers, and I've had to block their number on one phone, although they still manage to leave voicemails on the other.

Repeatedly, they ring me, asking that I call back at 833-240-5221, supposedly regarding a matter tied to my SSN, bizarrely addressing me as Fernando Martinez, a name I do not recognize

A message was left, allegedly from Orchard HSBC bank, requesting a callback regarding an important matter, but the request for personal information, such as my name and Social Security number, raises concerns about its legitimacy.
