Similarly, I experienced a situation where I received a text message after a hospital stay, claiming I had two physician bills ready from INPHYNET CONTRACTING SRV, LLC, with a total due of $4,897. However, the hospital I visited was Delray Medical Hospital, not Delray Community Hospital, and upon investigating INPHYNET CONTRACTING SRV, LLC on the Better Business Bureau, I found over 31 complaints regarding medical billing fraud.
Apparently, a scammer sent me a text regarding an unpaid hospital bill, urging me to click on a suspicious link for more information, which I promptly reported and deleted.
