Expert Opinion
Ever wonder why you keep getting texts about a bogus HSBC debt? The pattern points to a classic scam where callers threaten fake levies and impersonate law‑enforcement or debt collectors. They often use urgent language, fabricated account numbers, and a pressure tactic to force a reply. The safest move is to ignore the messages, never provide personal data, and block the number. Report the number to your carrier and, if you feel threatened, file a complaint with the FTC or local consumer‑protection agency. Regularly review your credit reports for unauthorized activity and keep your contact settings tight to limit unwanted outreach.

Receiving the same message by text is annoying, i just keep deleting it, this is likely a scammer posing as a law enforcment agency on a fake debt owed to HSBC, dont ever reply to them.
A text message was sent with my husband's name attached, which I suspect is a scam attempt to gather more information; I have chosen not to respond and will block the number.
The caller repeats the same message, including an account number, in an attempt to sound legitimate
I received a message allegedly from REANNA SAUNDERS, warning of non-compliance and escalation if I didn't call 855-926-1729, but the message originated from 213-635-2342 and claimed I owed over $3,000 for a card I never had
This number keeps popping up on my text messages claiming it’s about documents, I never respond and simply delete it, but it’s anoying.
They claim I owe a debt from 2010, but refuse to provide any aditional information, threatening to put a levy on my account for $8400 based on a false debt of $4000
A similar experience occurred, with the caller providing a name of someone I don't know, serving as a warning to everyone.
An alternitive approach would be to do this instead:
Repeated texts have been sent, urging me to call back to avoid 'escalation' and referencing code AMP230147. This is likely a scam, and the texts are being deleted.
