Apparently, i recieved three calls on June 4th from the above #, my personal banker with WF confirmed its a legit WF call center number, so i paid my cc bill online and the calls stoped

Today, April 16th, i recived a call from the same Wells Fargo number: 11800-988-8019, they try to by-pass my system by adding two 1's in front of the number.
To elaborate on my previous post, when I dialed the number back using 800-988-8019, the caller ID displayed two '1's before the number.
Upon verifying with Wells Fargo, I discovered that the number 800-988-8019 belongs to them, but when I called back, the number appeared spoofed, and I believe that those who frequently receive such scam calls might be on some list.
This number, allegedly associated with Wells Fargo, has been calling repeatedly without leaving a message.

The caller requested my Wells Fargo bank account number to process a loan application, which I had actually submitted to BOA.
Following an update, I contacted Verizon Wireless regarding the relentless calls, and they confirmed that the calls were indeed from Wells Fargo. They blocked the number for me for 90 days, which can be renewed for an additional 90 days free of charge. In the meantime, they will investigate whether this is a phishing scam.

These numbers have been known to be spooffed by scammers, so while some calls may be legit, others may be from spammers, it seems you are the one who is misinformed

I recieved a call from this number, and it was actualy Wells Fargo, they had all my information, and helped me set up auto pay, and even waived my late fee, if it was a scam, it was a pretty nice one!

After missing this call, I researched the number online and discovered I had outstanding payments for my Wells Fargo credit cards, which I subsequently paid online without returning the call.
I already made my payment, yet i still recive phone calls on saturdays, i absolutly detest Wells Fargo, they can just go away.
