Wells Fargo scam calls – what to do! - +1 800-988-8019 ((800) 988-8019)

Upon receiving the call, I was requested to verify my identity as a genuine Wells Fargo customer by name, although the caller ID displayed "WELLS FARGO". A message was left, instructing me to call back at 800-459-8451, supposedly from a person named Joseph, which seemed dubious.

I got a phone call from this number, then a text about a past due payment for a Wells Fargo card, but i never had a Wells Fargo account, it's definetly a scam

Apparently, wells fargo has confirm it is a phishing scam, they just want to stole your personal/account informations, Wf.Com look like the real wells fargo website but it a fake site, banks usualy use 5 digit numbers to send text, dont give them your informations

The caller identified themselves as a representative of Wells Fargo, inquiring if I was a specific individual, and had an Indian accent. When I asked for further verification to confirm their affiliation with Wells Fargo, they refused to provide any additional information, prompting me to end the call.

A call from this number claimed to be from Wells Fargo, stating that I had an outstanding debt, but when I contacted Wells Fargo directly using a separate number, they confirmed that this number was not affiliated with them and was likely a fraudulent attempt.

A message was left stating that an account had been suspended and a warrant had been issued for arrest, attempting to create a sense of urgency.

Receiving both texts and calls claiming to be from Wells Fargo regarding an unpaid balance, which is false, led me to report this incident to Wells Fargo as a suspected scam, aimed at obtaining personal information

These peoples are very convincing, they act like they are from WF, trying to help with supposely fraudelent charges, but the real Wells Fargo will never call you, you have to contact them

After missing their call, I returned it, only to be fooled into thinking it was a genuine call from Wells Fargo, prompting me to enter my debit card number, which was met with an 'unknown account' response, a situation that could have been avoided had I checked this thread earlier.
