Upon calling this number back, I was presented with a series of sales promotions; pressing '1' led to a request for credit card information, with no mention of Citibank.
I received a suspicious text regarding a Citi Card mail return, requesting me to call 1-800-950-5114 to update my address, but I don't even have a Citi Card.

In our experience, this number is legitimate, as we had applied for a credit card and Citibank called to verify the application, which is a necessary step for approval.

Warning signs indicate a potential scam
Initially, I believed this number to be a scam, but after verifying the information with Citi, I discovered that my account had been compromised, resulting in a one-time charge of $180 at a Wal-Mart.
This is a Fishing Scam, they want your personal info like Credit Card Number and Social Security Number, dont call them and dont give them any info, its a SCAM

After contacting CITI using the number on the back of my Citi Credit Card, they confirmed that the number provided, 740-834-4000, was not recognized as a valid CITI Bank Credit Card number, and upon calling back, it was advised to call this number, which also drew a blank in their records.
A message claiming to be from the 'Citibank Anti-Fraud' Department was left, asking me to call 1-800-950-5114, but the caller's number was linked to the National Rifle Association, raising suspicions of a phishing attempt.
Upon receiving a text claiming to be from Citi Cards' Fraud Dept, requesting a call to 8009505114, I instead contacted the number on my credit card, and the actual fraud department confirmed it was a scam, as they would never initiate contact via text in a legitimate fraud situation
Fortunately, I received a call from 800 - 950 5114, and my bank, Citi Card, promptly notified me that my credit card number had been stolen and several transactions were made, which they promptly addressed.

Upon returning the call, I was immediately asked for my credit card number, a clear indication of a potential scam.
Verification of this number through my citibank account and email correpondence with Customer Service confirmed that it is indeed a legitmate Citicard Fraud department number, and the issue was resolvd quickly.
I recieved a legitimated call from Citicards regarding my internet enrollment for auto-pay
This is a fake citi numbeer, be carefull not to give them your personel infomation.
I received a legitimate call from Citi, notifying me of my enrollment in auto-pay, which I had set up through their website the previous week.
It seem legit to me, i have been using they're CS number for last 5 year
