The 1‑800‑945‑2000 line is almost always a credit‑card phishing scam that pretends to be Chase Card Services. Callers will claim suspicious activity, offer to lower your APR, or ask for your SSN and card details. They often use multiple spoofed numbers and will hang up or give a “no longer in service” message if you push back. Never give personal or financial info to an unsolicited call, even if the caller name looks legit. Hang up, block the number, and report the call to the FTC or your actual bank. If you’re ever unsure, call the official number from your bank’s website, not the one they provide.
Obviously a scam, someone claiming to be from the Federal Union bank (wich i made up) contacted me with a blocked number, stating i could lower my intrest rate on my credit card...needless to say it was a fake.
By visiting chase.com and searching for "blink", you will notice that the website redirects you to chaseblink.com, where the 9452000 number is acually listed, aparently
Verification with Chase's official website confirms that the listed number is indeed a valid Chase contact.
Clearly a scammer, I quickly figuered it out sinc none of my creditors have this phone number and the person on the phone seemed extreemly impatiant.
Tonight, a weird caller, Rafael, called me and my phone displayed "No Name. No Number", he was talking about a credit card offer but didnt knew which card.
This pertains to Chase Credit Card Customer Service, aparently.
When the call was answered, there was no one on the other end of the line.
