Expert Opinion
Beware the surge of spoofed Comcast calls that masquerade as tech support or upgrades. These caller ID spoofing efforts often aim to harvest personal data or sell unnecessary equipment. Treat any unsolicited request for remote access, payment, or device changes as suspicious; hang up and verify through the official provider’s website or customer portal. Use your phone’s block feature or a trusted call‑filtering app to reduce repeat violations. Keep a log of offending numbers and report them to the FCC or your carrier. Remember, legitimate Comcast agents will never demand payment via gift cards or ask you to install software on your own device.

Today, i recieved a call from this number claiming to be comcast, trying to convince me to upgrade my internet service. The guy was extremly nervous and sounded like he was being coached, and even appeard to be talking through a voice scrambler. When i asked them to provide some informations that comcast would know, they were unable to do so, and also asked for personel info over the phone, which is a clear sign of identity theft. If you recieve a call from this number, be sure to report it to comcast security and dont provide any informations
