Why Oceanic Cable Keeps Calling You for Surveys? - +1 800-846-8212 ((800) 846-8212)
Summary — +18008468212
Expert Opinion
The 1‑800‑846‑8212 line is most often tied to Oceanic Cable survey calls that follow up on recent cable service interactions. Callers usually claim they’re doing a quality‑control or customer‑satisfaction poll for providers like Spectrum or Time Warner. While some of these surveys can be legitimate, the pattern of early‑morning or late‑night calls, vague identification, and repeated hang‑ups is a red flag. If you answer, keep personal details to a minimum, never confirm account numbers, and feel free to hang up if it feels pushy. Blocking the number or registering with the national Do‑Not‑Call list can curb the nuisance.

A call was recieved at 10:30 pm, but no message was left, which was suspisous
This number is related to spectrum, i think
Following a call to Spectrum's customer service, which I had initiated, my issue remained unresolved and my cable bill surprisingly increased by $30 within a month
It's possible that the call was from Spectrum, given that they hung up upon my answer, possibly due to our previous argument regarding my bill, which might have made them unwilling to engage in further conversation.
Unfortunately, they seem uninterested in listening, but the service representative was decent, which is unfortunate given the company's overall approach.
This is an automoted customer servey from Time Warner cable/spectum
Generally, I dont answer call that display as "TOLL FREE CALL" on my phone, I dont care whos calling, Number 2 , I had to search this site to find out whos number this was, (thanks alot) Number 3, They didnt even leave a message, thats just poor customer service, they should identify themselfs first, stupidly!
This number is allegedly from TimeWarner for a survey
A conversation with their customer service representative led to a discrepancy in the amount that would be deducted from my bill, prompting me to consider alternative services like Dish Network
It seems there's confusion regarding Google Fiber's involvement.
On 12/23/16, four calls were received from 1-800-846-8212, with the caller ID displaying 'Oceanic Cable WA', despite having no affiliation with a cable company in Washington, but rather in Hawaii.
On 12/23/16, I received four calls from 1-800-846-8212, with the caller ID displaying "Oceanic Cable WA", despite our cable service being from Hawaii, not Washington; after calling back, I was put on hold for 10 minutes before hanging up, unsure why they obtained my number or the purpose of their call.
I recieved 4 calls today (12/23/16) from1-800-846-8212. Nobody introduced themselves; the caller ID said "Oceanic Cable WA". We dont have any buisness with a cable company from WA, we actualy use one from Hawaii. I called the number back, and the recording introduced themselves as Oceanic Cable, stating it was "a very importint call." Then they put me on hold, I waited for 10 minits, then hung up. I wasnt going to waste my valuble time on a survey or whatever they wanted. When I contacted Oceanic about a diferent issue, they asked if I ever lived or had any cable in Washington state, I told them no, I never had; I never lived there or even visted that state. Not sure how they got my number and why they're calling me. Others have reported it's for a Time Warner survey.
Following a cable outage that Spectrun resolved in 32 minutes, I received a follow-up call to participate in a brief survey, albeit at the inconvenient hour of 11:00 PM
Spectrums policys are ridiculous, they want me to pay for extra cable boxes and now I have to buy new TVs to use the fire stick, its like theyre tryin to rob us
The calls from this number are akin to a persistent nuisance.
Although TWC had its flaws, we should give the new company, Spectrum, a chance to prove itself, just as we are giving others an opportunity to make a difference
Somebody contacted my number, and when I tried to call them back, that number wasnt availible
Following a pleasant experience with a TWC Customer Service Representative, I was expecting a survey call, but instead, the caller ID displayed 'UNAVAILABLE', which made me hesitant to answer
This number has significant value
Timely bill payments can prevent calls from this number, which is a straightforward solution.
It is quite disturbing that they managed to obtain my personal number, which I only use for private calls
I had just called my cable companey to complian about my cable box rebooting alot, and then I got a call from them asking for feedback on ther customer service, and I sugested they do the upgrades at night instead of during primtime.
The company, which appears to be of Hebrew origin, offered me an option to opt-out of receiving further calls, a courtesy I appreciate.
