RBC telemarketing calls flooding your phone! - +1 800-769-2510 ((800) 769-2510)
Summary — +18007692510
Expert Opinion
Imagine receiving multiple silent calls from a familiar bank number, each time hanging up before you can answer. That pattern usually signals a telemarketing or spam outreach, not an urgent service alert. Verify the caller by checking your bank’s official contact list or logging into your online account before sharing any details. Use your carrier’s block feature or a third‑party app to silence the number, and explicitly request to be placed on the bank’s Do‑Not‑Call list. If calls persist, file a complaint with the national consumer protection agency and keep a log of call times. Staying cautious protects both your privacy and your peace of mind.

A call from a GTL number in mexico resulted in a loud echo, and I was asked to put a minimun of $50, whereas others are charged $25, which seems unfair
I am charged $50 for this call, while others are only charged $25, and the call quality is poor, with noticeable echoing.
It's worth noting that these calls are not limited to debt collection, as I've received calls for various unrelated reasons, despite not owing any money

Apparently, telemarketers belive they can leave messages about specifc services, which is simply not acurate. They oftentimes call repeatadly, even after requesting to be removed from their list, and such pratices are considdered outdated and agressive.
Daily calls with no voicemail left
Apparently, RBC has a policy of not leaving messages due to privacy concerns with your banking, or so they claim. As an RBC customer, you can expect two kinds of calls - first, where something went wrong and you owe them money, and they leave detailed messages, or secondly, where they want to sell you something, and no message is left, it seems.
Within a short span, this number has called my cell phone twice, leading me to suspect that additional calls will follow, as this is the fourth 800 number to repeatedly contact my cell phone, despite my never answering.

I receive two daily calls from this number, which I mistook for a call from the Royal Bank of Canada due to the RBC display, but that is not their standard identification.
It seems like you might be affiliated with them, and I'd like to express my disinterest in your post

This is really anoying, they call me anytime, even at 8pm at night, should i contact RBC about this?
Despite never having been an RBC customer, I started receiving calls from this number on the same day my Bell Canada landline was connected, before anyone else knew my unlisted number. After subscribing to Bell Canada's call screening service, a representative confirmed that this number cannot be screened. Upon contacting RBC's Client Care Centre, a polite representative apologized and informed me that it may take up to 90 days to remove my number from their calling list. The connection between Bell Canada and RBC is puzzling, and it is unclear why they employ such methods to compete for customers.
It is evident that you have a connection to the company in question.

The warning is appreciated, as the call resembled those from the RCMP or firefighters' charitable funds, highlighting the proliferation of solicitations for donations.
Discovering this forum has been helpful, as it confirms the experience of being called repeatedly, sometimes twice daily, for a month, which raises questions about the persistence of these calls despite lack of response.
