Given my insider knowledge from over two years of working with Epixtar, I can confidently say their operational procedures do not involve retaining files for more than a month, making prolonged calls highly unlikely; the notion of an automated Do Not Call list is also inaccurate

Expert Opinion
Last Tuesday evening, the phone rang again from 1‑800‑618‑4943, and the pattern was unmistakable: an automated telemarketer pushing a Discover credit‑card offer. Callers rarely leave a message and often hang up when you answer, making it hard to verify legitimacy. The safest move is to request removal from their call list, confirm the request in writing, and add the number to your phone’s block list. Register the line with the Do Not Call registry, and consider a third‑party call‑blocking app. Never share personal details like birth dates or Social Security numbers until you’re certain the call is genuine. Persistent spam can also be reported to the FTC for further action.
