Imagine getting a silent, repetitive call that never leaves a voicemail—yet somehow it keeps showing up as a survey. That pattern often signals a spoofed ID trying to dodge the Do Not Call list. First, treat any unsolicited request for personal information as suspicious, even if the caller claims to represent a health insurer or pharmacy. Hang up, block the number, and report the incident to the FTC or your carrier. Consider using a call‑blocking app and regularly review your credit reports for unexpected activity. Never share Social Security numbers, account details, or passwords over the phone unless you can verify the caller’s identity through official channels.
