Opinione dell’esperto
A flurry of reports links the 800‑438‑2475 number to fraudulent Fidelity‑style texts. Most callers claim account changes, rollovers or loan activity, yet victims consistently find no such activity on their real Fidelity accounts. The pattern shows spoofed caller IDs, urgent language and a request to call a short code, which are classic phishing tricks. If you receive a text like this, verify the alert by logging into your account directly via the official website or known phone number—do not use the supplied link or number. Never share personal or banking details over the phone unless you’re certain of the caller’s identity. Report the message to your carrier and to the FTC to help curb the scam.
