Opinia expertului
Like a wolf in a banker’s coat, the calls from 800‑421‑2110 pretend to be Bank of America representatives. Victims report claims of credit‑limit increases, fraud‑department alerts, and requests for Social Security or card numbers. The pattern shows a classic phishing scam: callers use familiar branding and occasionally correct personal details to gain trust. Never share personal information or financial details unless you have initiated the call and verified the number on an official statement. Hang up immediately, block the number, and add it to your Do‑Not‑Call registry. Report the incident to the FTC and to your actual bank’s fraud line for a record.

I was transferd to a live person after a recording, and I asked them to remove my number from their call list, but they claimd to be to busy.
The question remains, whose bank account is being referenced, and what exactly is being asked?
I recieved an unsolicted call at 12:54pm PDT, with a caller id of "TOLL FREE CALL", which I didnt answer, they went to my message service, but said nothing, posible phishing.
Upon returning the call, a recorded message instructed me to enter the last four digits of my account number, claiming to be from Cardholder Services, at which point I terminated the call.
Following a letter from Bank of America, I was instruced to call a number regarding my account, however I hadnt inquired about anything and the conversation seemed suspicious, I beleive it might be a scam, especialy since the phone number provided was 1.800.421.2110
To verify the legitimacy of this number, I decided to return the call and check if it was an official BOFA contact
A recording claims that a credit card payment is overdue, but this is a scam since there are no credit cards associated with the recipient.
This appears to be a scam where the caller claims to offer a lower interest rate on a credit card, despite me not having a Bank of America credit card.
This appears to be a scam, as the caller claims to be offering lower interest rates on credit cards, despite the fact that I do not have a Bank of America credit card
Similar to others, I received a call with no message, and when I called back, they claimed to be from card services and asked for my account number.
A call was received claiming to be about a current credit card account, but the representative's claims and requests for personal information seemed suspicious and were reported to the fraud department.
It appears this might be a legitimate Bank of America phone number, but scammers can also use it to seem authentic; however, no legitimate bank, including Bank of America, would request all your personal information over the phone.
Frequent calls recieved asking to reduce credit card interest rate, usually get a non-exsisting number when i try to call back, but now it seems to be a legit company, albeit with shady tactics, and when you respond, the person sounds foriegn, mostly from India or therabouts, just gives me a headache
Upon calling back, an automated recording immediately requested my account number, suggesting I enter my social security number if I didn't have my card number, indicating a potential scam.
The frequency of calls from this number is excessive, with multiple calls per day.

A major scam was attempted when my caller ID displayed Card Services, and upon calling back, the same name was used. Legitimate credit card companies identify themselves by name, but when asked for the company name, the caller hung up. This number will be blocked to prevent further attempts to extract information.
