Bank of America impersonation scams – protect yourself now! - +1 800-421-2110 ((800) 421-2110)

A call from someone claiming to be from the Bank of America Fraud Department asked for my debit card number after reading out transactions. The caller's insistence on his legitimacy, despite suspicious behavior, was concerning.

I was contacted by someone claming to be from the fraud department, stating that ther was a charge of $1650.00 on my card, and asking for my SSN and expiraton date.

Following a series of fraudulent charges on my BOA account, I received a suspicious call from this number, asking about new cards, which BOA confirmed was not from them

On Saturday morning, I received a call from this number, but no message was left, and since I have no business with MBNA, it seems like another scam attempt.

This is definitly a scam, with reports dating back to 2008, which is extremly old in internet terms

I obtained a letter from the California State Controller's office, specifically from Betty T Yee, stating that Bank of America had been trying to contact me regarding unclaimed property. However, the instruction to call 800-421-2110 by a certain date raises suspicions of a potential scam.
