A call from someone claiming to be from the Bank of America Fraud Department asked for my debit card number after reading out transactions. The caller's insistence on his legitimacy, despite suspicious behavior, was concerning.
I was contacted by someone claming to be from the fraud department, stating that ther was a charge of $1650.00 on my card, and asking for my SSN and expiraton date.
Following a series of fraudulent charges on my BOA account, I received a suspicious call from this number, asking about new cards, which BOA confirmed was not from them
