A call was received before 8 a.m. local time, and although I let it ring, a message was left, but all that could be heard was static.

Szakértői vélemény
Ever wonder why that 800‑333‑3474 keeps lighting up your phone even after you’ve asked to be left alone? The pattern in these reports points to a spoofed Dish Network outbound line used by aggressive telemarketers and scammers. Since the number isn’t owned by the real provider, any personal or financial details you share can be harvested for identity theft. Block the caller through your carrier or a third‑party app, register the number on the National Do‑Not‑Call registry, and never confirm account info unless you initiate the call from a verified source. If you suspect fraud, report it to the FTC and your phone carrier.

These individuals consistently call early, promoting Dish Network services, and it's become a nuisance.
This is the first instance of a scammer using the name of Dish Purch Corp and the genuine Dish Networks phone number, 800-333-3474, with a heavy accent, presumably Indian, attempting to verify my dish receivers under the pretense of a satellite relocation, which would supposedly result in the loss of my TV signal if not verified; the scammer had access to my name and address but not my account number and requested I turn on my TV to verify, at which point I confronted him as a scammer and inquired about his location, to which he responded that he was with my wife, using a fictitious name, before hanging up; I subsequently reported this phishing scam to the actual Dish Network, who confirmed it was not a legitimate call
While working at a hotel, I received a call from this number, where the caller made a disturbing threat to harm themselves if I hung up.
A person with an Asian or Hindu accent called, claiming to be verifying my Dish satellite settings, but I suspected a scam and ended the call
The caller did not leave a message and did not identify themselves, calling twice with a 15-minute interval, which I found annoying.
Following a series of ignored calls from this number, I finally picked up to find a woman with an accent and poor connection inquiring about issues with my satellite receiver box. Despite experiencing signal problems, I became uneasy when she requested personal details, including my date of birth and city of birth, which I refused to provide. What's alarming is that she already had access to my name and address.
Daily crank calls from this number are extremely frustrating and seem to be a scam
They tryed to scam me today, I called Dish and they changd all my private security, these peoples know alot about me, it's beyound my understanding
The caller initially claimed to be our satellite provider, then revealed our actual provider and was informed that we are on the National Do Not Call List

I recieved a call from this number, claiming to be from dish, but i dont use dish, so i told them i have directv, and then they called back saying they were from directv, but i knew it was a scam
I received a call from an unknown entity, but no message was left. If this is indeed Dish Network, it's puzzling, as I haven't been a customer for over two years. I had to switch to Directv due to Dish's inability to provide HDTV channels. A word of caution: never provide information to unfamiliar callers.
Upon returning the call, I was informed that the number was not valid, which is concerning given the frequency of these calls.
I've been geting calls from this number and they keep asking for Sophia Gomez, i dont know who that is and i'm only 16, i dont even have a dish network account
A person claiming to represent Verizon contacted me, stating that a satellite was being relocated and requested my receiver number and birthdate, at which point I ended the conversation, as a legitimate Verizon representative should have already had this information.
Requests to cease calling are being made.
Fortunately, caller ID has allowed avoidance of this number, which calls daily, sometimes multiple times
It is advised not to share personal information, such as account numbers, name, or address, with anyone or online, and to request removal of such information for personal safety.
It's frustrating to deal with such nuisance callers, and they should be held accountable for their actions.
The caller claims to be regarding our Dish TV service
In the afternoon, I recieved a call from this number, the caller claimed to be Kevin, I sarcasticly replied I had a complet set of dishes, later that evening, I got another call from the same number, I told them to hang up and bother somebody else, although many claim this is Dish Network's legit number, scammers can spoof numbers...
A caller who said his name was Alex, claimed to be from Dish Network, but i think he's a scammer, his accent was thick
Despite numerous requests to remove me from their list, they persist in calling me repeatedly, which is quite frustating.
This is clearly a scam, as they claimed to be from Dish TV, warning me that my service would be lost if I didn't let a technician install a new receiver
Two calls were received from this number within a span of one minute, while another call was being attended to. Upon hanging up, the caller ID displayed two separate calls from the same number, with one being attributed to Dish Network and the other labeled as Out of Area.
