I had a similar experience where the caller had access to my social security number and address, claiming to have used Experian, which prompted me to place alerts on all my credit reports.

The caller with the number +18002978965 appears to be a scam artist, specifically a debt collector impersonator, who is trying to intimidate and manipulate individuals into paying fake debts. The caller claims to have personal information such as social security numbers, addresses, and dates of birth, which can be alarming for the recipients. However, the fact that they are calling to demand payment for supposedly overdue debts and threatening to report to credit agencies if not paid immediately raises several red flags. It is essential for individuals who receive such calls to be cautious and not provide any further personal or financial information.
