The situation is amusing.
As a precaution, I never answer calls from unknown numbers, and I will be blocking this one. If a legitimate company, such as ATT, needs to contact me, they should do so through conventional means, as they are aware of my contact information. I suspect this is a scam and will not engage with it.
The recipient was contacted for feedback on a service they do not have an account with.
I got a reminder call from AT&T about an outstanding bill that needs to be paid.
