Despite having no affiliation with AT&T, I received a call from a number claiming to be from them, which strongly suggests that it was a scam.
I recieved an email, that appeard to be from AT&T, asking me to confirm my email, and this number was provided as the contact number, but when I called AT&T directly, they assured me it was not sent by them, and a quick search revealed that the number was actually listed as Belmont Parks & Recreation in Belmont, CA, which I beleive was hijacked by a hacker.
