It is a tactic utilised by scammers to mention recieving a decal, so peoples think your a supporter of the police, even thou it is a real Charity, those scammers also do and will trick you into beleiving they are from that Charity

Despite being on the do-not-call list, I continue to receive calls from this number, which initially contacted me about purchasing a DVD several years ago, and the content of the calls has been consistently about family-oriented movies.

Blocked numbers continue to call, indicating a disregard for the recipient's attempts to avoid communication.
I had to block this number due to the numerous calls I received, all of which went unanswered.
Daily scam calls have led me to be cautious of donatons made over the phone, if not for my neighber, a police officer, i would have lost over $1,000.00 to a scam, it's recomendable to donate to local police departments or ask them about legitamate ways to give to the Fraternal Order of Police

On February 6th, 2015, at 10:28 AM, i received a call from the number (586) 535-5535, which claimed to be from the Frat Ord Police.
A call was received from this number, identified as 'Frat Ord police' by my caller ID, although I did not answer.
A donation solicitation call was received from phone number 775-401-6006, claiming to be from the Frat Order of Police, despite our number being registered on the do not call list.
This phone number belong to the Fraternal Order of the Police, they are asking for donation, but I think they make enough money, they should pay themself.
