It appears I've been targeted by a scammer claiming to represent a loan company called Check n Go, which supposedly gave them my debt to collect. When I requested the company's address, they became evasive and ultimately hung up on me after I disputed the debt. What's interesting is that I've lived in Georgia for 23 years, and Check n Go doesn't even operate in my state.
My husband received multiple calls from this number, and when I called back, they had all his information but hung up on me when I asked them to verify it
I experience consecutive calls from different numbers, with voicemails requesting a callback using the number on the caller ID to reach a live agent.
