A caller, who introduced himself as Jason Green, contacted me regarding a bank account from 2006 that I had never owned, and proceeded to bully and threaten me with wage garnishment.
A call from the 833 number was received at work, asking to speak with a manager about serving an employee with civil court papers. After being transferred to Jason Greene, it became clear that this was a scam, as he had excessive information about me and refused to disclose the company's name.

If a judgement has already been made, serving notice would be unnecessary, as the court would have notified the individual by mail, and the existence of a judgement can be verified by contacting the court directly
Apparently, these scammers are telling alot of lies, HSBC wouldnt have a civil judgement against you unless you were sued and lost, either by default because you failed to appear or they sucessfully proved you owed them money when you did go before a judge, you would certianly know about it either way.
A man named Scott claimed to have a delivery, but when I called back, Jason Greene mentioned a civil judgment against me from HSBC, citing my personal information.
This scammer claimed I owed money on a default loan for a car I dont own, alot of peoples would fall for this
Following a suspicious call claiming I had defaulted on a credit card, I researched the Florida statute of limitations, which clearly states that they can't sue after 4 or 5 years, making this a likely scam.

I had a suspicious phone conversation with a person named Jason Greene, who claimed to be calling about a claim against me, but would not provide any information or identify his company, and had access to my personal details
This number contacted me regarding a supposed master card debt that I have no knowledge of. What's alarming is the amount of personal information the caller had, and the fact that they involved a family member to get in touch with me. I've never heard of HSBC metris bank card before.
A voicemail was left stating, 'This is your final courtesy notification.' The caller, identifying himself as Jason Greene, claimed to be my case manager and referenced a claim number, citing a 'misunderstanding.' He warned that failure to respond within 48 hours could lead to further action, given that they possess verified residence and employment information and are prepared to proceed by default. The message ended with an expression of goodwill.
