That’s the number Facebook uses for its automated verification feature – when you click “call me” for a login code or page‑setup code. If you never asked for a code, it’s usually a typo or someone else’s account using your number. The safest move is to ignore the call, don’t share any info, and double‑check your Facebook security settings. If the calls keep coming, block the number or report it as spam in your phone app. You can also enable two‑factor authentication via the authenticator app to avoid phone‑based codes.
I've been recieving multiple texts from this number at random hours, which is very upsetting, especialy when it happens during odd hours and I worry about my loved ones, and attempting to call the number back results in a failed connection

I've received multiple calls from this number in the middle of the night, while my phone was turned off. When I attempt to return the call, it does not go through, which is causing me increasing discomfort.
Curiosity got the better of me when I received a call from Palo Alto, CA, but I didn't answer to find out who it was.
