Imagine receiving a call from +16491675970 promising a free Bell phone while asking for your SIN or visa number. The pitch sounds legitimate, but the request for sensitive personal data is a classic red flag. Never share your Social Insurance Number or payment details over the phone unless you’ve initiated the contact with a verified company. Hang up, then verify the offer by calling Bell’s official customer service number found on their website. Use call‑blocking tools, report the number to the FTC, and educate friends—especially seniors—about the free‑phone scam tactics. Staying skeptical and checking official sources keeps your identity safe.
