This morning, I blocked a suspicious call which I believed to be a telemarketing attempt. Upon researching the number, I found alot of informations. However, when I contacted Best Buy's chat support, they seemed suprised and advised me to call their Billing Departement, which I found quite careless and helples.

I recieved 5 calls from this number, seemed suspisous, so i answered, the guy had an indian accent and asked me about a laptop.

Apparently, it's a scam involving an Indian woman with a thick accent. After making a purchase at Best Buy as a gift, I received a call from this number, despite not including my number in the order. They claimed my order would be canceled if I didn't confirm my information, which I didn't believe, so I hung up and blocked the number. Fortunately, the order still arrived without issues.
As soon as she requested my card informations, i immediatly hung up and blocked the number, it was weird that she knew my name and adress and package contents too

After calling my local best buy around 2:30pm to check if they had the laptop in stock, my call was transfered to the international best buy call center, where a women asked for my informations, and now i recieved two random calls, it's really weird and frustrating me
This is clearly a scam, as I recently noticed unauthorized charges on my credit card and subsequently received multiple calls from a number with a "Best Buy" caller ID, but no voicemail was left

I finaly answered the call after recieving several calls from this number, it was an Indian lady who said she was from Best Buy Verification Department, she asked if I was trying to purchase a drone through the Best Buy App, I said yes without thinking
