The safest move is to let the call go to voicemail, never share personal or financial details, and report the number to your carrier or the FTC. I got two consequtive calls in a matter of secounds from two diffrent scammers, including this one, nomorobo.com explains that these scammers can bypass the screening process.
First, i got a call from "ATT SVC Cnt", then this number called, its probaly a scam
Despite having a system in place to block such calls, they continue to call with a blocked or fake ID, often appearing as a local government entity, and are now being ignored.

Interestingly, the call from this number coincided with another blocked call, raising suspicions about the nature of these calls.
Although they call periodically, they never leave a message, and their identity remains unknown, as the caller ID simply states 'out of area'.
According to WhitePages, the number in question is a Twilio VoIP number that has been flagged as spam, and I am unaware of any hospital with that name in Janesville
The call appeard to originate from my actual doctors office, with the area code, although it was blocked, it rang once, then subsequenly rang again utilising 6083716666.

Upon checking the caller ID, it displayed a name as "Unavailable". The call was ignored, and shortly after, another call came in with the ID 800-311-5968, also showing "Unavailable". A search for this number revealed multiple complaints, mostly related to computer issues.
My cable phone service blocked a call from (603) 371-6666, but they called back imediatly and didnt leave a messge
The purpose of calls from 608-371-6666 can be explained by the mechanism in place to prevent important calls from being blocked: when a suspected robocaller initiates a call, it is answered and the caller is asked to enter a random number, which, if successful, redirects the call back to the recipient with the caller ID changed to 608-371-6666.
This number has contacted my house several times, sometimes it appeard as 859 257 5218, which claims to be the Univ of Kentucky, but i've also seen it as Maine Medical, which is a fraud, i've contacted Maine Medical and they didnt know their name was beeing used

I participated in a medical survey regarding a recent visit to a doctor and facility, which only inquired about my experience with the staff and waiting time.
Similarly to others, I received one ring, which was promptly blocked by Nomorobo, and then this call came through claiming to be from Maine Medical, but I chose not to answer as I suspected it was unwanted, making me question the purpose of having a landline at all, given the numerous nuisance calls.

Apparently, spammers have discovered a workaround for Nomorobo by making rapid successive calls, as evidenced by my recent experience where the first call was blocked by Nomorobo and the second by my device.
A message was received claiming to be from a debt collector but failed to specify who they were or who they wanted to speak to, identifying themselves only as Maine Med CTR.
